My name is Lu and I am raising money to fund Mohammed’s (a Palestinian man who lives in Gaza) eye surgery. See the below words from his sister, Tamara.

“I can’t find anything to write about. Sadness has taken over us, my brother. His whole future is in your hands. He had a hemorrhage and retinal detachment due to a violent explosion. Please help him. Please. He is still young. His eye needs urgent treatment and surgery. My father lost his factory, his farms, his house, and his chicken shop in the war. Despite that, he did not ask for money or help from anyone, but our situation now is very difficult. We do not have anything. Please. All I want is to provide support to my brother so that he can see with his eye like the rest of his friends. Please, his condition is urgent. Help us, please. We do not have any other solution. Please be a reason to save the life of a young man so that he can see with his eye.

I don’t want food. We haven’t eaten flour for two months. I don’t want a tent, even though I live in a tent made of torn carpets and curtains. I don’t ask for money to buy food. I want treatment for my brother Mohammed. Please, all I want is for you to contribute to his treatment. A little from you can contribute to his treatment. The operation he needs is $500 and the weekly treatments he will require will cost $100 each.
